This week a department colleague introduced me to a software called Flypaper http://www.flypaper.com/. I looked at the site and picked up on some nice demo's/previews of how this software can be utilized. Several demo's seem pertinent to this blog such as the ability to use Flypaper to create video blogs which can be embedded into blog sites to make the experience more robust. Also, this software can be used to create interactive presentations. In this last capacity, Flypaper might help educators to create interactive content for their students to utilize as a supplement to existing course materials.
Ok, I am just learning about this software but I would like to ask if anyone has used this software previously? If so, in what capacity have you used this software? Educational vs. Social Networking?

Wow! I watched the video tour, and Flypaper seems amazing! In my opinion, it can be used as a social networking tool and for educational purposes. It is sort of a merge between a webpage and a video. What I really like about it is that Flypaper presentations guide you through the information, unlike webpages where you have to click aimlessly on links to get what you want. Flypaper acts as a tour guide and organizes the information into one small box. As a teacher, I would probably use it to create tutorials for classroom content. It can engage students better than webpages. As a student, I would probably use it to create a mini portfolio that I can embed in social networking sites. So far, I really like the product. There is just one question: Is it easy to use?
